Self-Paying Patients Are Especially Welcome

At Midtown Primary Care, we don't make self-paying patients feel unwelcome.  Self-paying patients are especially welcome.  Just list "Self-Pay" under insurance when you schedule your appointment, use "self pay" as your ID number and be prepared to pay at the end of your appointment.

We understand the difficulty of paying for medical care when you are uninsured.  That's why we have negotiated special pricing for your basic blood and urine tests.  

We don't want our patients to avoid coming to see us because they don't know how much the visit will cost.  That's why we have implemented a low Flat Rate for  those who pay in full at the time of their visit. 

Finally, for those who want the peace of mind of going to the doctor without worrying about paying, we have developed pre-paid Membership Plans, allowing you to have the office visits you need at a pre-paid price.

At Midtown Primary Care, you always know what the office visit will cost before you come. 

How much will my visit cost?

With standard medical pricing, visits costs can vary by the "medical complextiy" of the visit and/or the length of the visit.  The average cost of a visit is $160.  General Physicals (a.k.a. General Preventive Exams) vary by the age of the patient, and are typically $300 - $400 + lab fees.

With our Flat Rate pricing, your visit will always cost $110* and your General Physical will cost  $225* (+ lab fees.)  Please remember that when multiple problems are addressed a higher fee will be charged. 

How much will my labs cost?

Labs are processed by an separate company and they will bill you separately. We do not have their price list. However, as mentioned above we have negotiated some speical pricing with one lab company. Your basic labs should be under $100.  When you come in, you will discuss with Dr. Coghill what labs need to be ordered. The Business Manager will provide you with estimated lab fees. Please do not attempt to have a staff members provide these costs on the telephone. To offer the low visit fees, we must keep a very small staff so that staff is very busy.

Consider Joining Our Membership Plan

We are now accepting members in the first of our membership plans.  This first plan is sponsored by the No Insurance Club.  

With this plan, you receive up to 1 office visit per month for 12 months (that's 12 visits per year) and it includes your Annual Physical.  The cost--just $480/year.  This is a significant savings when the typical doctor's office visit is between $100 and $200.  With this plan there are no co-pays.  Once you pay your annual membership fee, you do not have to pay an office visit fee until your membership expires.  Our membership plans are not insurance.
