Thank you for selecting me as your Primary Care Physician. At Midtown Primary Care, the total patient is our primary concern, and we pride ourselves on providing personal and friendly care. We are dedicated to fully educating you about your health needs and we strive to be your partner in health.
You will notice that we are a different type of medical practice than most. For example, we have a very small staff, and schedule fewer visits per day. We also utilize technology when we can so that our time is spent helping patients rather than on the telephone. We provide basic access to our patient portal at no extra charge. And we offer Virtual Office Visits (webVisits)--an office visit without you physically coming in. The intent of these, and our other policies, is to help provide better patient care.Patients should schedule, reschedule or cancel all of their appointments online. The system is available 24/7, so you don't need to attempt to quickly call us before we leave at the end of the day. Other issues are best communicated by sending us a secure message via our Online Office. We check these at least once per day, and it provides us with a written record of your communication.
To get the most out of our relationship, you will need to be open to using technology to communicate with the office, and you will need to be a little patient. You will also need to be respectful of other patients who also need medical attention.
Please be candid with me concerning any and all medical problems--past and present. Ultimately, you must assist me in keeping you healthy.
I am sure that we will have a wonderful relationship. If you have not yet visited me, I am looking forward to our first meeting. Generally, I try to see patients on either the same day or the day immediately following a call. To contact us after hours, including weekends, simply call 212-244-4520 and leave a message. Either my staff or myself will normally answer the telephone. In the event that you need to leave a message, please keep your line clear.
